We had a wonderful time at our First Annual 4th of July Parade and Celebration on Saturday. We had almost 50 homeowners in attendance and a few visitors, too! The children had a great time participating in the parade and did a wonderful job decorating their scooters, bikes, wagons, tricycles, and dogs. The front entrance looked great and was decorated very festively. We had plenty of spectators along the parade route to wave as the children passed by and then enjoyed some delicious hot dogs and lemonade. Then Jenni's ice cream truck even dropped by for a sweet treat! It was a great time and I want to thank everyone for participating. I am already looking forward to next year.
I put a slide show together of the pictures that I took, but if you would like to see the pictures individually, just follow the link below and it will take you to our Gallery page.
Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!

I have also put a link to Jenni's Treats on the Streets Facebook page below. She was the sweet lady who came in the ice cream truck. If you are on Facebook, go and like her page and spread the word about her. She will start coming through our neighborhood soon, so listen for that magical sound after dinner =)
